Habitat
Subtropical and tropical swamp forest. From sea-level - 300 m.
Brazil, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, Venezuela.
Very locally in north-eastern and southern Venezuela (north-eastern Monagas south to Delta Amacuro, Amazonas), the Guianas, north-eastern Ecuador (Sucumbíos, northern Napo), north-eastern Peru (eastern Loreto) and central Brazil along middle Amazon Basin (Amazonas east to Pará and Amapá, south to northern Rondônia).
