C�te dIvoire, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Sierra Leone.

Upper Guinea forests from Sierra Leone east to Ghana.

Subspecies
Forms a superspecies with <Buff-throated Apalis (Apalis rufogularis), M0000079120* and Karamoja Apalis (Apalis karamojae). Has sometimes been considered conspecific with Bamenda Apalis (Apalis bamendae) and Gosling's Apalis (Apalis goslingi).

No subspecies.
