Habitat
Subtropical and tropical moist montane forest. From 1,500 - 2,150 m.
Bolivia, Peru.
Eastern slope of Andes from south-eastern Peru (Cordillera Vilcabamba, in Cuzco) south to Bolivia (Cochabamba, possibly also Santa Cruz).

Estimated population is unknown (2010).
