Habitat
Subtropical and tropical lowland dry shrubland. From sea-level - 700 m.

Range (Guide)

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay (NB).

Breeds western Bolivia, western Paraguay and eastern Argentina (Salta south to northern R��o Negro); distribution poorly known, apparently patchy in north of range. Non-breeding east to southern and south-eastern Brazil.

Estimated population is unknown (2010).
