Subspecies
The following 2 subspecies are recognised:
corrusca (Nordmann, 1835) - Southern Somalia southern in narrow belt along coast to Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique and eastern South Africa, extending inland along some major rivers (thus reaches extreme south-eastern Zimbabwe).
vaughani (Bannerman, 1926) - Pemba I, off north-eastern Tanzania.
