Habitat
Subtropical and tropical high altitude grassland. From 3,500 - 4,200 m, occasionally upto 4,800 m.

Range (Guide)

Peru.

Central Peru, in Junín and Huancavelica and locally into adjacent mountains of Ancash, Lima, Pasco and Ayacucho.

Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010).
