• podobe (Müller, 1776)   -  Southern Mauritania and northern Senegal east to north-eastern Sudan, northern Ethiopia and western Arabia. Non-breeding also northern Somalia.
• melanoptera (Hemprich & Ehrenberg, 1833)   -  Western, central and southern Arabian Peninsula.
