Eastern Meghalaya east to north-western Manipur, in north-eastern India.

Population
Estimated population is 2,500 - 9,999 (2010) and decreasing.
Status VU
Forest clearance, degradation and fragmentation, primarily due to shifting cultivation, but also through burning, cutting for fuelwood collection and, more locally, commercial timber extraction are the main threats.
