Juniper forest, mixed broadleaved woodland, Acacia woodland along streams, and woodland edges.

Estimated population is 2,500 - 9,999 (2010) and decreasing.
Status VU
Habitat destruction and degradation through clearing, fires are the main threats.

Voice
A soft, hooting 'droo droo' calls. Quieter 'chruuk chruuk' notes.

Similar Species
