Nest
A neat, frail cup, composed of grass, strips of bark and plant fiber, bound with cobweb, lined with leaves, in a young tree, a few meters above the ground.

Eggs (Guide)
2; smooth, matt, pale yellow-green, green-grey, blue-green or buff-green, spotted and blotched with browns, all over or in an indistinct zone, particularly at the larger end; oval to long-oval; about 20 x 15 mm. Incubation: about 16 days; by female only.

Young
Altricial, nidicolous. Fledge in about 9 days. Fed by both parents.

Subspecies
No subspecies.

Poecilodryas superciliosa (Sibley and Monroe 1990, 1993) has been split into White-browed Robin (Poecilodryas superciliosa) and Buff-sided Robin (Poecilodryas cerviniventris) (2008) following Christidis and Boles.
