Primary and old secondary lowland evergreen forest, bamboo and forest edges.

Philippines (B).

Palawan and Balabac, in western Philippine Is.

Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010) and decreasing.

Status NT
Lowland forest loss, degradation and fragmentation through logging and mining concessions, are the major threats.
