Voice
Song a variable, extremely high, wispy, slurred insect-like 'tsui-ts'siiuu'ee', rising at end, lasting 1.7-1.9 seconds.
Subspecies
No subspecies.
Napothera rabori (Sibley and Monroe 1990, 1993) has been moved into the new genus Robsonius and split into Cordillera Ground-warbler (Robsonius rabori) and Bicol Ground-warbler (Robsonius sorsogonensis) following Collar (2006).
Previously placed in genus Napothera. Formerly regarded as conspecific with Bicol Ground-warbler (Robsonius sorsogonensis).
