Habitat
Subtropical and tropical montane moist forest. From 2,200 - 3,300 m, occasionally to 2,100 m.

Range (Guide)

Costa Rica (B), Mexico, Panama (B).

Highlands of Costa Rica, rarely also extreme western Panama (Chiriqui).

Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010).
