Habitat
Subtropical and tropical lowland and montane moist forest, caves. From sea-level - 3,400 m.
Aruba, Bolivia, Brazil (B), Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guyana, Netherlands Antilles, Panama, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela.
Panama and Colombia east to Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana and northern Brazil and south to Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia; also recorded in Costa Rica.
