Habitat
Subtropical and tropical montane moist forest, high altitude shrubland. Also, subtropical and tropical lowland moist forest, moist shrubland, heavily degraded former forest. From 1,200 - 3,400 m.
Pakistan eastern in Himalayas to north-eastern India (south to Assam), Myanmar, south-western and south-eastern China, north-western Thailand (Doi Inthanon) and northern Indochina.
