Large Lifu White-eye © oiseaux.net

Member of a species group which includes also Silvereye (Zosterops lateralis), Slender-billed White-eye (Zosterops tenuirostris) and White-chested White-eye (Zosterops albogularis). Related to and a derivative of first of those, possibly closest to its New Caledonian population (griseonota).
