Estimated population is unknown (2010) and decreasing.
Status NT
Habitat loss through illegal logging and conversion to agriculture, and fires are the main threats.

Habits
Often with mixed feeding flocks.
Food
Fruit and small insects.
Voice
A shrill, metallic 'swit'. Song is a loud, sweet, up-and-down 'di-ti-di-ti-du-dit' , the last note being the lowest.
