Solomon Islands (B) (NB), Vanuatu (B) (NB).

Vanuatu, Banks Is, Santa Cruz Is and Duff Is.

Population
Estimated population is 1,000 - 2,499 (2010) and decreasing.

Status VU
Destruction of lowland forest for agriculture, avian malaria, cyclones and natural cycles are the main threats.

Voice
A short, high-pitched 'tswit-tswit', uttered in flight. A constant twittering uttered while feeding.
