Habitat
Subtropical and tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical and tropical dry shrubland.
China (mainland), Hong Kong (China), Laos, Vietnam.
Eastern and south-eastern China in southern Shaanxi, southern Shaanxi and northern Henan, and from south-central Sichuan east to Shanghai, and south-eastern Yunnan east to Fujian and Guangdong; also Vietnam (south to central Annam).
