Habitat
Subtropical and tropical moist lowland From sea-level - 1,400 m, occasionally up to 1,800 m.
Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua.
Lowlands of southern Mexico (northern Chiapas), north-central Guatemala, southern Belize, and Caribbean lowlands of Honduras, Nicaragua and northern Costa Rica (south to R Reventazón).

Estimated population is 20,000 - 49,999 (2010).
