Subspecies
Guam Kingfisher (Todiramphus cinnamominus), Palau Kingfisher (Todiramphus pelewensis) and Pohnpei Kingfisher (Todiramphus reichenbachii) (del Hoyo and Collar 2014) were previously lumped as Todiramphus cinnamominus following Sibley and Monroe (1990, 1993).

Considered by some authors to be a subspecies of Guam Kingfisher (Todiramphus cinnamominus).

No subspecies.
