Habitat
Subtropical and tropical High Altitude grassland, rocky areas. From 3,200 - 5,000 m.

Range (Guide)

Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Peru.

Central and southern Peru (Jun��n south to Tacna and Puno), northern Chile (Tarapac�), south-western Bolivia (La Paz south to Potos��) and north-western Argentina (south to western Tucum�n).

Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010).
