Population
Estimated population is unknown (2012) and decreasing.
Status NT
Habitat destruction and degradation through conversion to agriculture and overexploitation of resources, is the main threat.

Habits
Forages in pairs or small flocks of up to five individuals.
Food
Insects, including caterpillars.
Voice
A thin sweet warble, similar to that of Black-crowned White-eye (Zosterops atrifrons) but less modulated. Twittering chirrups heard from small moving flocks.
