Lowland and hill-slope broadleaf evergreen forests. From sea-level - 1,200 m.
Brunei Darussalam (B), Indonesia (B), Malaysia (B), Thailand (B).
Extreme southern Thailand, western Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo.
 
Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010) and decreasing.
Status NT
Forest destruction is the main threat.
