Habitat
Subtropical and tropical montane moist forest. From 1,700 - 2,250 m.

Range (Guide)

Indonesia (B).

Vogelkop (Tamrau Mts and Arfak Mts), in north-western New Guinea.

Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010).

Status LC
Desforestation is a potential threat although the rainforests within the species range remain largely undisturbed due to their geogrphical isolation. Males are hunted for their skins.
