Habitat
Subtropical and tropical montane moist forest. Also, subtropical and tropical lowland moist forest.

Range (Guide)
Papua New Guinea (B).

New Ireland, in eastern Bismarck Archipelago. To date, only recorded from S of island, but presence in central considered probable.

Estimated population is unknown (2010).
