Rimator malacoptilus (Sibley and Monroe 1990, 1993) has been split into Long-billed Wren-Babbler (Rimator malacoptilus ), Sumatran Wren-Babbler (Rimator albostriatus ) and White-throated Wren-Babbler (Rimator pasquieri ) following Collar (2006).
Formerly treated as conspecific with Long-billed Wren-Babbler (Rimator malacoptilus ) and Sumatran Wren-Babbler (Rimator albostriatus ).
