Dry forest, riparian forest and semi-deciduous forest within the cerrado, including in secondary growth and forest fragments. From 400 - 900 m.
Population
Estimated population is 2,500 - 9,999 (2010) and decreasing.
Status EN
Habitat destruction and degradation through conversion to agriculture, mining and harvesting of wood, is the main threat.
