The western half of Flores, Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

Estimated population is 2,500 - 9,999 (2010) and decreasing.
Status EN
Habitat destruction through forest loss and fragmentation is the main threat.

Voice
An upwardly inflected whistle and buzzing notes. Also a quiet, warbling chatter interspersed with 3-4 upwardly inflected whistles.
