Habitat
Undisturbed arid lowland scrub and has a particular association with terrestrial bromeliads. From 350 - 900 m.
Peru (B).
Lower portion of Marañón Valley in north-eastern Cajamarca and adjacent western Amazonas, in north-western Peru.
 
Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010) and decreasing.
Status NT
Habitat destruction and degradation through spread of oil palm plantations and cattle ranching are the main threats. Oil extraction is a potential future problem.
