Food
Know to have eaten the blossoms of the white-wood tree or white hibiscus, but based on the size and strength of the bill may also have eaten other foods as well.
Voice
Horse, quacking, inharmonious noise, sometimes resembling a barking dog.
Nest
In a hollow of a tree.
Eggs (Guide)
4; possibly white.
Subspecies
May have been conspecific with the extant New Zealand Kaka (Nestor meridionalis).
