Habitat
Subtropical and tropical lowland moist forest, high altitude grassland. From sea-level - 3,000 m.

Range (Guide)
Cameroon (B), Equatorial Guinea (B), Nigeria (B).

Western Cameroon (Mt Cameroon) and Bioko (Fernando Póo).
 
Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010).

Subspecies
No subspecies.

Forms a superspecies with White-headed Saw-wing (Psalidoprocne albiceps). Birds from Bioko described as subspecies poensis, but considered indistinguishable.
