Vagrant to Algeria, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Senegal, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Uruguay.

North America, from southern Alaska to Newfoundland, and south to central USA.
 
Population
Estimated population is 4,600,000 (2010).
