Subspecies
The following 2 subspecies are recognised:

zeledoni Ridgway, 1899 - Extreme south-eastern Costa Rica (Caribbean slope) and tropical and subtropical zones of Panama.
affinis Pelzeln, 1856 - Northern and north-eastern Colombia (south to R San Juan and Huila) and north-western Venezuela (Zulia, Táchira, M�rida, Trujillo, western Lara and Falcón).
