Subtropical and tropical moist lowland forest. From sea-level - 1,300 m.

Range (Guide)

Brazil.

Central-eastern Brazil from Alagoas south to at least Santa Catarina and ranging inland as far as eastern Goiás.

Estimated population is unknown (2010).
