Bottle-shaped, composed of green leaves, usually placed at the extremity of a horizontal branch of a swamp banksia or other bush, up to 5 m above the ground.

4 - 6; pure white; oval; about 18 x 12 mm. Incubation: 12 - 14 days; by both sexes.
Young
Altricial, nidicolous. Fledge in 21 - 24 days.
