Vagrant to South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.

• mentalis d'Orbigny & Lafresnaye, 1837   -  Southern Chile (Llanquihue south to Cape Horn) and southern Argentina (Neuquén and Rí­o Negro south to Tierra del Fuego). Winters north to northern Peru, north-eastern Argentina and Uruguay.
• maclovianus (Garnot, 1829)   -  Falkand Is.
