Habitat
Subtropical and tropical lowland dry shrubland, dry savanna. From sea-level - 2,000 m.

Range (Guide)

Angola, Congo [The Democratic Republic of the].

Western Angola, from mouth of R Congo east to western Malanje (perhaps to Lunda Norte), and south to Namibe (formerly Mocamedes).

Estimated population is unknown (2010).

Voice
Whistled 'zweet', similar to that of White-backed Mousebird (Colius colius). A harsher 'zhrrik'.
