Habitat
Lowland forested areas, primary forest within 500 m of the edge, secondary forest with a dense low understorey and a dense discontinuous canopy, old, uncleared cocoa and coffee plantations where the tree layers are beginning to disappear. From sea-level - 800 m.
Patchily distributed in southern Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon, and extreme south-western Central African Republic.
 
Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010).
Status LC
Habitat destruction through clearing and conversion to agriculture is the main threat.

Food
Arthropods, mainly beetles, but also Hymenoptera and spiders.
