Habitat
Subtropical and tropical moist lowland forest.

Range (Guide)

Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo [The Democratic Republic of the], Congo [The Democratic Republic of the], C�te dIvoire, Gabon, Ghana, Liberia.

Liberia discontinuously east to central Zaire, where restricted to rainforest zone.

Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010).

Subspecies
Current treatment requires further study. Formerly split off in monotypic genus Veles, and notable morphological peculiarities suggest that this may indeed be appropriate.
