Habitat
Subtropical and tropical moist montane forest. From 1,100 - 2,000 m, occasionally 600 - 2,400 m.
Colombia, Ecuador, Peru.
Eastern slope of Andes from southern Colombia (western Caquetá) south to southern Peru (Ayacucho and Cordillera Vilcabamba, in northern Cuzco).
