Vagrant to Oman, Yemen.

Deserts of north-western Africa (Western Sahara, extreme northern Mauritania, southern and south-eastern Morocco, western and interior northern Algeria, central and southern Tunisia, north-western Libya), central Jordan and northern Saudi Arabia.

Estimated population is unknown (2010).
