Angola, Congo [The Democratic Republic of the], Zambia.

Angola (Cuanza Sul south to northern Hu��la, east to southern Lunda Norte and northern Moxico) east to southern DRCongo and northern Zambia.

Population
Estimated population is unknown (2010).

A sharp 'chrik chrik' uttered in flight. A soft, tinkling display song.

Subspecies
No subspecies.

Sometimes considered to form a superspecies with Blue Swallow (Hirundo atrocaerulea), but morphological differences probably too great to justify such a treatment.
