Habitat
Coastal and near-costal rainforests, especially drier and open associations, and dry and wet sclerophyll forests. Also in areas between dense and more open vegetation.

Nest
Cup-shaped, composed of moss and plant fiber, heavily bound with cobweb, lined with fine peices of palm-fiber and hair-like fern stems, built into an upright fork of a small shrub, usually 10 - 20 m above the ground.
Eggs (Guide)
2; smooth, white, spotted with shades of red-brown evenly all over or at the larger end; blunt-oval; about 19 x 13 mm. Incubation: about 14 days; by both sexes.
Young
Probably altricial, nidicolous. Fledge in about 14 days.
