The following 2 subspecies are recognised:

angustifasciata Chapman, 1926 - Northern Peru, from southern Amazonas south to R Mara��n, also eastern Cajamarca south to south-western San Mart�n.
thoracica Taczanowski, 1874 - Peru, Bolivia.
