A scrape on a sandy beach or low outcrop, close to water.

2; olive. Incubation: about 30 days.

Young
Fledge in about 60 days.

Subspecies
Not closely related to other dark-bodied gulls, possibly relatively recently derived from Laughing Gull (Larus atricilla).

No subspecies.
