Solomon Is, on Bougainville, Choiseul and Santa Isabel.

Population
Estimated population is 6,000 (2010) and decreasing.

Status VU
Large scale logging and deforestation of lowlands are the main threats.

A long, drwan-out 'hoo', rising in pitch at the end.
