Habitat
Upper subtropical and temperate forest, elfin woodland and second growth and adjacent areas of páramo, subpáramo and agricultural land. From 1,850 - 3,400 m.
Colombia (B).
Eastern Andes of Colombia.
 
Population
Estimated population is 5,000 - 10,000 (2010) and decreasing.
Status VU
Forest destruction and fragmentation through logging, conversion to agriculture, human settlement and development of the road network, is the main threat.
