Subspecies
The following 2 subspecies are recognised:
griseigularis (Jackson, 1906) - South-eastern Nigeria and southern Cameroon south to Gabon (except extreme south), northern and central PRCongo and extreme north-western Angola (northern Cuanza Norte), also southern Central African Republic (R Ouossi, north-western Zemio, La Maboké, possibly Lobaye), west, south-central and eastern DRCongo, western and southern Uganda (southern from Budongo) and north-western Tanzania (Bukoba); possibly also Rwanda (Nyungwe).
