Disjunctly along foothill ridges of eastern Andes in Ecuador (western Napo, Morona-Santiago, Zamora-Chinchipe), Peru (Loreto, San Martín, and from Huánuco south to northern Puno) and northern Bolivia (La Paz, extreme south-western Beni, western Santa Cruz).
